The Success of Knowledge Management in an Organisation
Panel Discussion

Tuesday, 30 May 2023

14:00 - 15:00 CAT

The success of Knowledge Management in an organisation is often associated with the reporting line of the KM function. Two key aspects are raised. Firstly, when there is buy-in from the C-level and the function reports at that level, it seem to be easier to achieve the objectives of, and add value, with KM. Secondly, the KM function tends to adopt the nature of the department it reports to e.g. if it reports to the IT function, the outputs tend to align to the IT function outputs. The question is, where should the KM function report to?

What are the guidelines and key considerations to decide on the reporting line of the KM function? Please join Hanlie at our next webinar when she will facilitate a panel discussion with Refiloe Mabaso, Jeanette Seko, Hein Spingies and Joanne Cornelissen to share some insight on this issue.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the panel.
